Since the early 1950s, Bay Landscaping has been growing a huge variety of plants on a single Hampton Township block. What started as a few acres has blossomed into over 60 acres of plants tested and trialed to suit our local zones 4 – 6. A lot of time has passed but our goal remains the same: make the Great Lakes Bay Region a more beautiful place to live. Today, it’s our honor to welcome the public to our Garden Center for shopping, local events, or to simply stop and smell the flowers.

Whether you’re looking for a classic staple or a modern showstopper, our greenhouses and nursery yard carry about 500 varieties of plants hardy for the Michigan climate. If you need help deciding what is best for your landscape, our team is available to provide whatever level of guidance you need. And if you decide that planting isn’t in your future? We’re happy to get our hands dirty to install your selections.

One of the first things you’ll see upon pulling in our main drive will be The Bloomery & Greenery, our greenhouse dedicated to our seasonal highlights. The time of year will determine what you’ll find within. Discover staff picks and dazzling delights that will add vibrant color and texture to your landscape.
The Farm
Tomorrow’s Trees & Shrubs
To make sure you’re getting the best plants at the best value, we receive in small sapling trees and shrubs, plant them, and grow them up into robust specimens already acclimated to the Great Lakes Bay Region’s climate. Twice a year, we take our tree spade to The Farm field to dig out the next crop to fill The Nursery. If you happen to fall in love with a specimen still in the ground, we’ll happily add it to the dig schedule.
